Credits cover platform processing — signal ingestion, correlation, and ticket generation. One signal processed = one credit. Whether it arrives from a webhook, MCP query, or API call, each signal analyzed counts as a single credit against your monthly allocation.

You bring your own AI model and manage AI costs separately. Self-hosted users bring their own AI and do not need credits.

Common questions about credits, plans, and billing.

What happens when I run out of credits?

When your monthly credits are exhausted, new signals will still be ingested but will queue for AI analysis until your credits reset at the start of your next billing cycle. You can upgrade your plan at any time to increase your credit allocation immediately, or purchase a one-time credit top-up. You will never lose signals — they are always stored regardless of credit balance.

Can I switch plans?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing for the remainder of the current cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period. There are no cancellation fees on any plan.

Do self-hosted users need credits?

The Free plan includes 500 credits/month for cloud-hosted processing. If you self-host, credits do not apply — you bring your own AI model (OpenAI, Anthropic, Ollama, or any OpenAI-compatible provider) and process unlimited signals. MCP server and API access are included either way.

What AI models are supported?

SignalManager AI works with any AI model you bring. Connect via the built-in MCP server or REST API. Supported providers include OpenAI GPT models, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Ollama, LM Studio, vLLM, and any OpenAI-compatible provider. You can swap models anytime without changing your configuration. On cloud plans, credits cover platform processing — you manage your AI provider costs separately.
